    Awesome Podcast!
I really enjoy this podcast! I read the trades in order from episode 1 and then listen to the show. I really enjoy all the cohosts you have on. Keep up the great work!

Perfect for the new Batman comic reader
I grew up obsessed with the animated series, movies, and Arkham video games. I needed something to do during the ✨pandemy✨and picked up year one after I stumbled upon this podcast. This pod is partially to blame for the absurd amount of money I have spent on floppys and trades after nearly 25 years of not having a comic collecting hobby. This pod is seriously that good. Since then, I have worked through the Batman mythos and listened to Ryan and the gang break down the stories that have inspired all of the on screen versions that I fell in love with years ago. TBBC is an excellent companion to suggested reading orders from Reddit/the interwebs. 10/10

Perfect reading guide for all things Batman
This podcast got me into actually reading comics after being a huge Batman animated series and movie fan. Have followed along and read every book covered after having barely read anything before. Highly recommend.

Perfect for all Batman fans and a great intro to comic books
Im a huge superhero fan but had really only watched movies and shows, this podcast got me to read my first comic, Ryan’s favorite: The Long Halloween, and I fell right in love. I’ve listened to every single episode and listen to each new one that comes out. I can’t recommend this show enough, Ryan Lower does an amazing job and all his guest stars are wonderful.

    Great Show
This show is great for anyone wanting to do a deep dive on all things-Batman comics. I read a few books I never would have known about without listening to the show.

    Congrats Ryan
Congrats on making it to the 100-episode milestone. Here’s to many more. I’ve enjoyed tuning in to hear different perspectives on many of the cool Bat books that I’ve enjoyed reading. The rapport that Ryan has with his guests makes for a fun and easy listen. The variety of titles covered has been solid. The Bermejo episode was a top-notch treat.

Ol’ Brucey would be proud of this one..
Ryan is an incredible host and gets better with each episode. Love his insights on books/comics/shows/movies, but what I enjoy about him the most is he’s a FAN first. He’s just like the rest of us, but gets to put it into words. Keep up the good work, Ryan!

    Top Notch Show
I’ve only listened to a few of the Batman Book Club episodes since I only found out about the show pretty recently, but everything I’ve listened to has been awesome. Based on the expertise of the host and the cohosts, these guys really know what they’re talking about. Every time I finish reading a Batman comic, I check the Batman Book Club show for a review on that comic (which, of course, there always is one). This show is basically the definition of true Batman fans! I would definitely recommend.

    What. A. Podcast
I was wary about this podcast before I listened to it the first time, I thought to myself how can a podcast that reviews batman comics be that entertaining? While my lust for a Batman podcast kept growing I threw this on for a 3.5 hour drive and have been hooked ever since. Ryan is an awesome host who is insightful and inviting for all batman fans that are interested in the character. The guests he has on are just as entertaining as he is, the discussions are very entertaining and knowledgable about Batman. If you’re looking for a good reflective podcast for a Batman story you just read or if you’re just looking to kill time and listen to some cool dudes talk about Batman this is the podcast for you. The episodes are super fun and entertaining, it feels like you’re sitting around with your friends just chatting about your favorite Batman stories. Keep up the great work Ryan! Haven’t heard a bad episode yet!

    Fantastic
Ryan knows his stuff. If you’re like me and trying to dive into the deep deep waters of Batman lore this show is for you. You will get a better understand of the character that is Batman and his rich history. Ryan is also very interactive on Twitter in case you have even more questions. 11/10 would recommend.

    It’s perfect.
I blame my Mom and her love for literature for getting me into books. I’m a sucker for a book club. Coincidentally, I blame her fo my love of Batman. What do I get with this show? I think Van Halen or Hannah Montana said it best “It’s the best of both worlds.” Love, analysis and great conversation all in one show.

A Must-Listen for Any Batman Fan!
I discovered this podcast through the BATMAN-ON-FILM.COM Facebook group and have enjoyed every episode! Reading along has been a great way to revisit classic Batman stories and discover some new, hidden gems. I especially love the enthusiasm Ryan and his guests bring to each conversation -- they clearly love all things Batman, and it comes through. Whether you're a new or seasoned Batman comics reader, this is a must-listen!

    Incredible Bat-Pod!
Holy awesome podcast, Batman! We love us a good Bat-pod but this one certainly sticks out. Covering all the best in Batman comic runs. I love that the classics are not the only things covered here. Ryan dives deep into all the Batmans! Even the lesser-known ones. As a comic fan, I love hearing about these stories that I need to add to my collection. Ryan brings such authentic passion, a wealth of knowledge, and great insights to the table. Keep up the awesome work! 10/10 would recommend to all the Bat-fans out there! Dave - Pizza And Parsecs

    Holy Info Overload Batman!
This podcast is the best I’ve heard. Not about hot takes but about classic Batman stories from some of the best fans you could listen to. Host Ryan Lower has an awesome and knowledgeable group that he rotates to keep the show fresh. They talk about classic stories and obscure titles. Literally everything and anything you can think of. I always look forward to the next show. This show has so much variety you will come back for more!

    No library card needed!
The Batman Book Club. The show writes itself. Ryan and his wonderful host of guests take you on a wild ride though 80 year of the Batman comic library. Not only do you get your tride and true stories but the show also digs deep and brings out some great Batman tales you may not have heard of before. Ryan has a unique way of being out the fun and energy from his guest hosts and keeps the show fun and easy accessible. Whether you have read 1 or 100 Batman books this show has something for everyone. I say this not just because Ryan has had me on the show, but I say it as a fan and a friend. Check it out. With 80 years of stories, there’s no shortage of shows! No library card needed. -Rob

    A new favorite!
There’s a lot of Batman podcasts & for good reason! He’s the greatest comic book hero! What makes The Batman Book Club stand out is that it’s focused squarely on the comics, with each episode focusing on a specific story. It’s a diverse range, too! From immortal classics like Year One and The Long Halloween, to overlooked gems like Year 100 and Thrillkiller, host Ryan Lower and his guest talk passionately about the Dark Knight’s adventures, bringing their unique insights and history to the conversation. I’d recommend this to any level of Batman fan!

    Great idea
This show is amazing. Covering the Batman books that defined my fanhood but also stories that I should read. I actually love the idea of this show. No hot takes, it’s not “news” it’s just Batman literature comic books and otherwise. If you are a Batman reader you can not miss a single episode.
  • Vigilante1939
Great history lesson for Batman fans!
This show takes being a Batman-centric podcast a step further by delving into the many, many great stories of The Dark Knight. If you are a Batman fan and a fan of Batman comics, this show is not only easy to follow, but has great guests, interesting viewpoints, good laughs and a whole lot of Batman knowledge.

    Amazing Podcast!
I am definitely known to hyperbolize my favorite things, and this podcast has quickly become one of those, so I can only speak of this in hyperboles! Absolutely AMAZING! Even though there have only been four episodes so far, as soon as a new episode pops up, it jumps to the top of my list. This in my opinion is the best Batman podcast I have ever listened to, thank you for all you have done for us during these times when we all need some entertainment! Thank you!
